Preksha is a distinguished Indian advocate with a robust career in intellectual property law, having been enrolled with the Bar since 2006. She embarked on her professional journey with a premier law firm specialising in IP law and honed her expertise at a leading litigation firm before joining ZeusIP Advocates LLP in 2008. Since her arrival at ZeusIP, Preksha has been a vital contributor to the firm’s growth and success. Her exceptional performance over the years led to her being named a partner after just six years, making her one of the firm’s first home-grown partners.

Preksha specialises in various aspects of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on Trade Marks, Copyrights, and Industrial Designs. Her expertise in trade mark portfolio management encompasses pre-filing strategies, prosecution hygiene, strategy formulation, assignment and transfers, as well as oppositions and cancellations advisories. She is adept at developing enforcement strategies and managing trade mark matters across the Indian sub-continent.

She provides strategic counsel on trade mark and design prosecution, infringement, passing off, and enforcement issues. Her skills extend to negotiating complex IP matters, resolving domain name disputes, and formulating strategies for the protection, management, and optimisation of IP portfolios.

She was also named as the IP Star Woman of the Year in the 2019 Legal Era Intellectual Property Awards. She has also been ranked as the Top Managing Partner (above 10 years experience) by India Forbes Legal Powerlist 2020.

She has personally been consistently ranked by World Trade Mark Review for ‘strategy’. She has served in various INTA committees for more than a decade now and is also a co-chair of the INTA’s India initiative to collaborate with the Indian Government (DIPP) for the spread of IP awareness amongst school going children.
