About
Gunjan was admitted to the Bar in 1999. She briefly worked at a couple of law firms prior to founding the firm ZeusIP Advocates in 2004. She is a qualified attorney and a registered Patent Agent. She has more than two decades of experience in pure IP law and cognate laws. She is the founder and the current Managing Partner of a firm which has grown from a one-person shop to a highly respected and ranked firm for IP in India.
Area of Practice/ Expertise:
Her expertise, in particular, extends to Patents, Trademark, Copyright and Industrial Designs, and includes obtaining registrations, counselling on protection, enforcement and management of Intellectual Property assets with a special focus on enforcement of Intellectual Property, conducting detailed due diligence projects, representing clients in Intellectual Property litigation in various courts across India.
She also has extensive experience in prosecuting trade mark and patent applications, and managing clients’ portfolio in India and the neighbouring countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.

She was also named as the IP Star Woman of the year in the 2019 Legal Era Intellectual Property Awards. She has also been ranked as the Top Managing Partner (above 10 years experience) by India Forbes Legal Powerlist 2020.
She has personally been consistently ranked by World Trade Mark Review for ‘strategy’. She has served in various INTA committees for more than a decade now and is also a co-chair of the INTA’s India initiative to collaborate with the Indian Government (DIPP) for the spread of IP awareness amongst school going children. She has additionally served on various committees.
