Naveen is a practicing Patent Attorney in India. He is qualified Mechanical Engineer and an advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. He has extensive experience for more than sixteen years in the domain of Intellectual Property (IP) and specializes in counseling on protection, enforcement and management of IP assets. His core areas in IP include patents, designs and trademarks. On the domain of patents, Naveen has been actively involved in advising universities, R&D centres in mining inventions, advising on patentability of innovations, drafting of patent applications, patent analytics and patent prosecution services in the areas relating to mechanical, electromechanical, electronics and telecommunications, bio‐medical instrumentation and software. He has extensive experience in prosecuting patent applications (including PCT National Phase, convention and regular applications in India and PCT and convention applications globally). In the domain of trademarks, Naveen has been actively involved in advising on trademark clearance searches for adoption and use of trademarks, assisting clients in filing and prosecuting trademark applications in India and worldwide up to registrations and enforcement of their trademark rights. Naveen has been actively involved in managing portfolios for design registrations and enforcement building strategies for clients. Komal is a qualified attorney and has over 8 years of experience in contentious and non-contentious IP matters. In particular, she has experience in strategic managing of international trade mark portfolios, conducting and analyzing clearance searches, creating filing strategies for and prosecuting applications, oppositions, invalidation actions, enforcement advisories as well as representing clients in Intellectual Property litigation in various courts. Her varied exposure to a broad clientele has enabled her to also approach matters from a business and commercial perspective to assist her clients in implementing trade mark strategies. She is a keen analyst, has a flair for writing and is an active contributor towards the initiatives of the Firm. In this pursuit, she has attended several IP conferences such as INTA (International Trademark Association) and ECTA (European Communities Trademark Association) Annual meetings and has written articles on Indian trademark law and procedure and developing content on trending IP subjects. She is currently a member of the INTA (International Trademark Association) Non-Traditional Trademarks Committee.

With an experience of around five years in legal profession, Himanshu Deora is presently a Senior Associate handling litigation work (Team Leader) at ZeusIP Advocates LLP. He completed B.B.A. LL.B.from BharatiVidyapeeth University, NLC, Pune (2008-2013 Batch) and is enrolled with Bar Counsel of Rajasthan (Enroll. No. R/762/2013). He holds additional qualification of ICSI Executive Programme and diplomas in Corporate Law and M&A, and also an experience of interning with eminent lawyers and Supreme Court Judge during his college days. Hejoined ZeusIP in June, 2013as an Associate, and after working with the trademark prosecution department for over three years, he started handling litigation work full time. He has experience in managing trademark portfolio for diverse clients; handling trademark prosecution; drafting of co-existence agreements/ undertaking/ settlement deeds; appearing before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums including Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, District Courts, Trademarks Registry, IPAB, Customs office.
His area of interest is litigation and his strengths include litigation drafting, briefing and formulation of IPR enforcements strategies. He has proven track record for successful litigation cases before various High Courts and District Courts, and also, the criminal enforcement matters against counterfeit issues in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, etc. He is a dog lover and loves travelling in free time.
Aarohan Bansal has been practicing intellectual property law for close to eight years. He has extensive experience in managing and developing intellectual property portfolios of companies in various industries ranging from pharmaceuticals, telecom, heavy manufacturing, electronics, renewable energy, FMCG, etc. His practice is focused on contentious and non-contentious trademark work, including prosecution, oppositions, cancellations and appeals before the Trade Marks Office and Intellectual Property Appellate Board, as well as designs and copyright work.
